If you already own a rank, you can ascend to a higher one without purchasing it at full price. Rank upgrades only charge the difference between your current rank and the rank you wish to unlock.

Choose the upgrade that begins from the rank you currently own. Selecting the wrong path may prevent your new rank from being granted correctly.

Every upgrade is permanent and carries all the perks, commands and rewards from the ranks beneath it.
